Accounting is a key function in many business organisations. Effective accounting procedures provide timely and relevant information to management, helping organisations to achieve objectives and perform successfully.


Through their study of Accounting from N5 through to Advanced Higher, learners will develop skills in preparing a range of financial and management accounting statements in line with specified layouts. They will also learn to interpret and analyse financial information to make effective decisions from the perspective of various stakeholders.


Learners will also develop their ICT skills in using spreadsheets to prepare accounting statements, as well as analysing accounting information using a range of spreadsheet functions and formulae.


Learners with good numeracy and presentation skills, logical minds and a keen attention to detail achieve highly in our Accounting courses.
