Canada - Mount Sentinel - British Columbia

Madras College has been operating a pupil exchange programme with Mount Sentinel Secondary School in British Columbia, Canada since 1999. This programme is an informal school-to-school exchange and is not part of any other exchange programme. The benefits of a country-to-country programme are enormous. Madras sets up a person-to-person exchange with pupils from Mount Sentinel High school for a period of up to 6 weeks negotiated between participants. In the past this began in mid August with a Canadian pupil arriving here shortly before our return to school. The exchange partner from Madras then goes to Canada from mid September until November. Dates are agreed between exchange partners depending upon individual circumstances and academic commitments in S6.
